American Friends of Jamaica upgrades playground

WHEN school reopens for the Easter term this week, students of Promise Learning Centre on Hagley Park Road will have a new playground, courtesy of a US$10,000 grant from the American Friends of Jamaica. The fenced facility includes a playhouse, basketball and table tennis sets, and a trampoline. It was handed over at a ribbon-cutting on December 16.
